Leadership Development That Works at the Root

Your highest performers have most likely done leadership training and engaged a leadership coach. Yet they still experience Internal Power Drops at the worst times.

They might go offline under pressure. Or hesitate at the exact moment they need to decide. Often they carry a ceiling on what they believe they're can acheive or become, and no amount of skill-building has touched it.

This isn't a coaching gap. It's an unconscious pattern held in the body. And patterns can be dissolved.

A 6-month engagement that dissolves the unconscious patterns limiting your leaders, then builds the leadership skills to match what that subtraction makes possible.

Why Conventional Leadership Development Isn't Enough

Most leadership development works at the level of behavior and skill: communication frameworks, decision models, feedback loops. These matter, and they're not wrong. But they're working one layer up from the actual constraint.

Beneath every leader who under-performs their own capability is a root: a moment their nervous system never fully processed, now showing up as reactivity, hesitation, or a hidden ceiling on what they believe they can hold. That structure doesn't respond to more training. It responds to a different kind of work entirely — locating the pattern in the body and dissolving it at the source.

When the root is gone, the leader doesn't need to manage the pattern anymore. It simply stops running them. Then, and only then, is the leader ready to build.

The Inner Sovereignty Leadership Framework: 4 Sessions

A structured, two-phase engagement. The first phase dissolves what's in the way. The second builds what's next.

Phase One: The Subtraction — 2 Months

Releasing what blocks your success and happiness.

Four sessions, spaced two weeks apart, each building on the last.

All sessions are by phone, Google Meet, or Zoom.

SESSION 1: The Root Release - 2 hrs

The foundation. We locate the specific pattern driving this leader's reactivity, self-doubt, or stress response under pressure, and remove the charge around it. No disclosure required. No revisiting the past.

  • Goal: Locate and neutralize the somatic root of the leader's reactivity or stress pattern.

  • Outcome: A calmer, more grounded baseline under pressure — not a temporary reset, but a genuine shift in how they hold high-stakes moments.

SESSION 2: Increase Your Capacity - 1 hr

We then move into daily execution. Procrastination, decision paralysis, and the friction that stalls follow-through all have roots. We find them and remove them.

  • Goal: Dissolve the somatic triggers behind low enthusiasm, procrastination, avoidance, blocked momentum, and low-grade energy depletion.

  • Outcome: Natural focus and forward movement, not forced discipline or task avoidance.

SESSION 3: Dissolving the Leadership Ceiling - 1 hr

Most leaders have unexamined beliefs about what they're allowed to hold: how much authority, visibility, income, or responsibility feels "safe." Many suffer from hidden imposters syndrome. These beliefs weren't chosen. We dissolve the charge that keeps them in place.

  • Goal: Remove the somatic patterns underneath self-limitation, so the leader stops capping their own scope.

  • Outcome: Genuine readiness to hold more, without the internal resistance that shows up as hesitation or self-sabotage.

SESSION 4: Living Forward - 1 hr

With the roots dissolved, attention turns to what this leader is actually building and the organizational goals they are responsible for. We create clear intentions, actions plans and release whatever resistance remains between them and achieve them.

  • Goal: Clarify direction and remove unconscious blocks, including fear of failure, fear of visibility, self-doubt, standing between the leader and the role they're growing into.

  • Outcome: A grounded, clear sense of direction, powered by enthusiasm and purpose.

Phase Two: Integration 4 months

A Layer Most Executive Coaching
Cannot Reach

I've been a Certified Personal and Professional Coach, Newfield Network, since 2000. I know what traditional coaching does well: sharpening thinking, building frameworks, holding a leader accountable to their own goals. I still do that work, in Phase Two. Phase One is something different, for when a leader's pattern isn't a thinking problem.

Every experienced coach eventually meets the client who understands the framework perfectly and still can't act on it. Who has the insight and still reacts the same way under pressure. That's not a coaching failure. It's a sign the pattern lives below where coaching conversation can reach it.

This is the layer beneath the coaching layer, and it's what makes The Subtraction different from the coaching that follows it:

No disclosure required. In The Subtraction, the leader keeps their history private. Unlike deep coaching or therapeutic modalities, nothing about the origin of the pattern needs to be discussed for it to dissolve.

No re-triggering. Nothing is relived in these four sessions. The process is precise and calm, not cathartic.

No generic protocol. Each session responds to what's actually present for that leader. We address what keeps each leader awake at night.

Phase Two is coaching in the traditional sense: goals are named, progress is discussed, and accountability is part of the work. Once the root pattern is no longer running the leader, leadership coaching can do what it does best.

What This is Worth

Six months. A different starting point, and a fully built leadership capacity by the end of it.

Executive coaching engagements at this depth typically run six to twelve months and cost several times this investment per leader. This framework reaches a layer most coaching never touches, and still moves through a complete, structured arc: subtraction first, building second.

All sessions remain fully 1:1. Cohort pricing reflects multiple leaders enrolled together as part of the same organizational engagement, scheduled within the same quarter, not a group coaching format. Contact Caprice to discuss fit and structure for your organization.

Or Start with Phase One:
The Subtraction

For organizations not ready to commit to the full six months, The Subtraction is available on its own: the same four sessions over two months, without the Integration phase.

If you choose to continue into the full engagement afterward, this investment applies in full toward the complete six months. There's no penalty for starting smaller, only a lower bar to see whether this is the right fit for your leaders and your organization.

I felt so free after my first session with Caprice that I did 3 more. I am emotionally lighter and physically healthier as a result. Perhaps the most tangible example I can give is that my physical stamina increased dramatically without exercise or changing my already healthy diet.

After my 4th session, my hubby and I went for a walk, and I discovered I could walk up our long, steep driveway without getting winded or my leg muscles burning. What used to be quite difficult is now a breeze for me. I felt like Legolas in The Lord of the Rings walking on top of the snow! Apparently, my emotional baggage was weighing me down physically. I have less neck tension now and get fewer headaches.

I am also much happier and easygoing in general. I am often overcome with a sense of joy and gratitude, which used to happen on occasion but now happens frequently. I waited several months to write this review to make sure the effects were lasting, and they are. I highly recommend working with Caprice!

I am pleased to say this work with Caprice was a success. This gets us in contact with harmful subconscious habits and breaks them.

Since the session, several times I felt tested by that same reflexive emotion, but I no longer repeat the behavior.

This work, guided by Caprice, has truly been life-changing—and that feels like an understatement. I’ve carried the weight of unrelenting trauma since the age of three, and now, approaching 40, I’ve spent most of my life trapped in negative thoughts, destructive habits, and unhealthy relationships that I believed were all I deserved.

In just a few months, I’ve found the courage to embrace change and confront discomfort, letting go of what was harming me and making decisions that align with my well-being.

Caprice has given me something I never imagined possible: freedom from the trauma that once ruled my life. I finally feel capable of living up to my full potential, unshackled from the pain of the past. I cannot recommend Caprice and this method enough—it is nothing short of transformational.
