My Journey to Inner Sovereignty
I didn't come to this work through a curriculum. I came through necessity.
After divorcing the father of my daughters and discovering he was a psychopath, I was told by a well-meaning professional that I would always be a broken vessel. "But that's okay, Caprice — the cracks let the light in."
I understood the intention. I rejected the premise.
I was not interested in learning to live beautifully with damage. I needed to actually heal — and I needed to show my daughters that they could too, before the weight of what we'd been through became the permanent architecture of their inner lives.
So I tried everything. Therapy. Meditation. EMDR. EFT. Self-help, gurus, somatic work of various kinds. Some of it helped. None of it finished the job. The roots remained.
What I eventually discovered — through years of study, practice, and working with clients — is that most approaches to emotional suffering operate at the level of understanding. They help you make sense of what happened. That understanding is real and valuable.
But the body holds what the mind has processed a hundred times and still not released.
Applied Somatic Intelligence works differently. It goes directly to where the pattern lives — in the body, beneath the story — and dissolves it at its source. Not managed. Not reframed. Gone.
I know this is true not only because I've seen it happen in hundreds of sessions with clients.
I know it because of what happened in 2025.
My oldest daughter got married in the fall. For two weeks I had an empty nest — and then my father's cancer began overtaking him. I moved in with him and cared for him until his death in December.
It was not an easy death. There were hard decisions, a disordered family dynamic, grief I couldn't have anticipated, and moments that would have — ten years ago — sent me into a spiral I might not have found my way out of.
Instead, I navigated all of it from a place of genuine peace. Not performed calm. Not white-knuckling through. Peace. Clarity. Presence. Even gratitude.
That is what Inner Sovereignty actually looks like under pressure. Not the elimination of suffering — we live in a world that will always bring suffering. But the transmutation of it.
The capacity to move through darkness without being consumed by it, and to find, on the other side, that you are still whole.
That is what I want for you.

From Caprice's Clients

Caprice has given me something I never imagined possible: freedom from the trauma that once ruled my life.
Trish E., South Carolina
Spent 9 years in traditional therapy before working with Caprice. Carried unresolved trauma since age 3.

I felt so free after my first session with Caprice that I did 3 more. I am emotionally lighter and physically healthier as a result. I am also much happier and easier going in general.
Kara D., Georgia
Physician who made sure that Caprice's process is compatible with her Christian faith.

I’m telling you, this works in a way that talk therapy does not and it is totally private. Caprice skillfully and lovingly takes you straight to the heart of things and dissolves them at their very root.
Kris L., Montana
Experienced healer who works with horses and other animals.
On Faith and This Work
The Inner Sovereignty Process is not a religious program. It does not require faith of any kind to produce results. People of every background, belief system, and spiritual orientation have experienced deep and lasting transformation through this work. But for those who do carry a faith — Christian or otherwise — this work often lands differently. The dissolution of a root pattern is not merely psychological relief. It is experienced as a return. A coming home to something that was always there, waiting beneath the weight.
Orthodox Christianity has always understood the human person as fundamentally oriented toward wholeness, toward union with God, toward the recovery of what suffering has covered over. The tradition speaks of theosis — the gradual transformation of the whole person, body and soul, into their truest and most luminous self. It speaks of the nous — the deep interior faculty of the human person that suffering clouds but cannot extinguish. The work of the interior life, in the Orthodox tradition, is the gradual purification of the passions, the wounds, the distorted patterns of perception and response that keep us from living as we were made to live.
My Eastern Orthodox Christian faith has always understood the human person as bearing the image of God — an image that suffering obscures but cannot destroy. My faith is not separate from this work — it is the soil it grows from. I offer this work to everyone. And I offer it from exactly where I stand.
The life you were made for
is still available to you.
Whatever you have carried — for years, for decades — it does not have to be the permanent condition of your interior life. The roots can be dissolved. The weight can lift. And what remains is not a better-managed version of yourself.
It is you, living from your deepest and most sovereign self.
